The following T&C's apply to all Gator Courier Services:-
Whilst we will try to provide all services at all times some services may be limited at busy times.
Any Times and Dates given are guidlines only and are subject to change without notice.
Pricing
Each delivery is individually priced according to your requirements.
Tolls, Congestion Charges, Ferry cost and other extra costs incured whilst carrying your goods will also be added to the total cost. Mileage is calculated from collection location to delivery location using the fastest route. This may not always be the shortest route. It may also include diversion routes if the driver encounters any problems on the original route.
Your quote is valid only for the day, time, load and type of service you have specified. Any changes made may change the quoted price up or down.
Unless stated otherwise, Your quoted price includes up to 20 mins Loading/Waiting Time on collection and up to 20 mins Unloading/Waiting Time on Delivery. Extra "Waiting Time "at either location will be chargeable.
Minimum Delivery Charges may apply.
We do not transport any Hazardous or Dangerous or Illegal items or Pets, Animals.
Loading/Unloading.
You are responsible for providing the correct equipment to load and unload the items you ask Gator Couriers to transport. e.g. forklift trucks to load/unload a pallet. extra persons to lift large item on/off our vans.
You will be subject to our waiting/loading time surcharge at either location whilst either the items are on the van and you are unable to unload or whilst the driver waits to load whilst you provide the correct loading equipment. If you are unable to load the items your are subject to our cancellation policy. See below. If it is not possible to unload the items on delivery we will contact you for further instructions. If we cannot contact you, the items will be returned to the collection location. Our Return Load rates will apply for the return journey with your load. If it is not possible to return the goods to the collection location we may take your items to another destination i.e self storage company, you will be liable for all additional travelling costs, any storage cost and any cost involved in unloading your items. If this is not possible and there is no option but to leave the items on the van you will be charged "Waiting Time" for the time the van has your items on it.
On our arrival, If the item is larger or heavier than stated or to large or heavy for the vehicle you have requested we may send a larger vehicle or additional vehicles to complete your delivery without contacting you, this will result in extra charges. If the item is larger than any vehicle we can provide you will be subject to our cancellation policy. See Below.
Goods in Transit Insurance
Up to £10,000 is automatically included in all courier/delivery services for small vans. (Berlingo Size, SWB Transit size).
Up to £15,000 is automatically included in all courier/delivery servicse for Large Vans. (LWB Transit, XLWB Sprinter)
Please inform us if you require higher insurance for your items. Extra charges will apply for the higher insurance cover.
Failure to inform Gator Couriers if you require higher cover and aquire the correct insurance cover may invalidate all Goods in Transit insurance cover on your items. It is your responsibility to make sure you have the correct level of insurance cover. All glas and other fragile items are carried at you own risk, Our Goods in Transit insurance does not cover these items.
Cancellation:-
Removals, Ebay Deliveries:-
If you cancel for any reason your deposit payment is non-refundable. If we cancel your deposit will be refunded unless we have already tried to make collection on your behalf without success.
Courier Services:-
If you wish to cancel your booking, 24 Hours notice must be given to Gator Couriers, No charge will be made.
If you cancel within 2 - 24 Hours of collection time a 50% charge of the total fee will be payable.
If no cancellation notice is given, Cancellation within 2 hours of collection time or the driver has started his/her journey towards the collection location or any part of the journey has been completed on your behalf 100% of total fee is payable.
Payment Methods:-
Invoice.
This is only available to regular contract customers on application.
All invoices have to be paid within 30 Days of date on invoice.
Cash.
This option may not be available for all deliveries. If we agree to a cash payment this must be paid to the driver on Collection of the goods.
Paypal Account.
Payment can be made online from the "Payment Page" on ths site from funds in your paypal account. Payment has to be made before we send a vehicle to the collection location.
Any additional charges incurred will be payable before unloading at the delivery location.
Credit/Debit Card payments through Paypal.
Payment can be made online from the "Payment Page" on this site. Gator Couriers do NOT take card payments over the phone.
Payment has to be made online before we send a vehicle to the collection location.
Any additional charges incurred (additional waiting time, etc) will also be payable before unloading at the delivery location.
You do NOT need a Paypal account to pay this way. Payment by card has to be made online via our payment page on this web site. The Driver cannot take card payments.
CARD SECURITY.
We do NOT receive your card details using this method of payment. Your details are given direct to Paypal. This helps to ensure your card security.

Late Payments:-
Invoices Payments.
If payments are not made in full by the "Payment Due Date" specified on your invoice an automatic late payment charge of £50.00 will apply to the overdue invoice. You will also be placed on "STOP" meaning you cannot use Gator Couriers services until the full amount including late payment charge has been paid in full. Failure to pay all outstanding costs will result in us exercising our Stautory Right to Interest and Compensation for debt recovery costs if NON payment persists.
Cash.
If we have agreed for you to make a cash payment to the driver and payment is not made as agreed, we may refuse to allow unloading of your delivery until full payment has been made. You may incur further costs for waiting time, storage or re-delivery charges.
Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Paypal Funds.
If a card payment is returned to your card, or a paypal payment is returned to your paypal account at your request or at the request of Paypal or the card company in question, a standard admin fee will be apply of £50.00. Full amount outstanding including admin fee payment is payable within 14 days. Failure to pay all outstanding costs will result in us exercising our Stautory Right to Interest and Compensation for debt recovery costs if NON payment persists.
NON PAYMENTS:-
Non payers may be refered to a debt recovery agency who may add further recovery costs to the outstanding debt. The debt recover company may proceed to take legal action against you.
This may affect your ability to aquire credit or services in the future.
